This is my first attempt at digital painting and a resubmission because i wasn't too crazy about the previous background. I hope you guys like it! The gorgeous looking character is Umeda Hokuto from Hana Kimi (Hanazakari no Kimitachi e). The line art was taken straight from the manga. I can't really remember which chapter though. Hopefully I will be doing some other colouring of Hana Kimi characters. They all look so amazing!

If you have any tips or observations to make about this so I can improve my style, they are very welcomed!

For the background I used this texutre [link] made by *CozyComfyCouch and many abstract brushes by: ~rubina119, ~bruninhoo, ~Accoladee, =Axeraider70 . The brushes are in an overlay.

I love it.
The coloring is great.
But Umeda has light brown eyes, not blue.

Thank you! :) I was really unsure with the eye colour. I saw a few coloured pics with him and in some he had amber eyes, in others he had really light blue eyes. In the end I decided to go with blue.

Right now I'm so loving you!!
This is one of my fav Umeda pics and I hated the fact that it was black and white!
I even tried coloring it but it turned out kinda weird <-<
So nice job!! On favs now xD

<3 I've always loved this pic, and you made it look so pretty. :heart:

...this scene always makes me wonder if 1.) Umeda isn't actually looking Ryoichi in the eye or 2.) Ryoichi's actually that much taller than Umeda. (Which would be crazy tall. XD)
